INSTALLATIONS & WALL PIECES > A WARMING WORLD

Part of Adaptation/Migration in the Anthropocene, these pallets served as planters for the invasive plants Ivy and Pothos for the duration of the exhibit. Ironically, both plants in spite of their encroachment on native habitat, serve as ideal houseplants in that they help clean indoor air of impurities. Invasive bug imagery alludes to the fact that bugs often bore their way into wood (like the wood pallets) to hitch a ride to other lands.
