These pieces were hand-dyed with plant-derived natural dyes, a direct experience with the chemistry of the plant materials, on the other hand the imagery depicts stylized recreations or photographic records of the dandelion plant, mediated so that the experience is indirect and abstract mirroring the urban estrangement from nature.
